The Bard´s Tale

Nasty Little Fly

Text und Musik - Andy und Wolfgang Klemm

Once upon, a long ago a maiden with golden hair.

Ruled all over Nothingham and nothing could give her scare.

There was one man she truly loved, a thief called Robin Hood.

He took from the rich and gave the poor. And hid in mighty Sherwood.

And the Bards still sing from the ancient times,

Thus hurry low and behold.

These tales are old but they sure are true.

Come near and far, young and old.

Once upon a long ago. A mighty lizard, we knew.

Tried to fight a brave young man, with a heart of strength and youth.

He stroke the beast to have its blood protect his very life.

Though one small leaf should become his fate. Get murdered from behind.

And the Bards still sing from the ancient times,

Thus hurry low and behold.

These tales are old but they sure are true.

Come near and far, young and old.

Once upon a long ago, a queen that bathed in milk.

Glanced upon an empire of sand, wrapped in gold and silk.

She chose her fate and passed away, from the kiss of a slithering snake.

Her beauty lasted on for centuries, mysterious beyond her grave.

And the Bards still sing from the ancient times,

Thus hurry low and behold.

These tales are old but they sure are true.

Come near and far, young and old.

Come near and far, young and old.
